Jeff received confirmation from Sonic Drive-In Corporation that he was approved as a licensed franchisee. This confirmation was based on his personal operations background, financial strength and a two day intensive orientation. This approval has allowed him to develop and operation Sonic Drive-In restaurants in North Carolina and Ohio.   

​After 3 years as an operator and a member of the Co-op Board of Directors, he was nominated and elected as the Hampton Road Co-op President by the Co-op Board of Directors and the full Co-op for a two year term. His responsibilities included the execution of company directives as they related to the Hampton Roads market. This included marketing strategies, brand awareness, Co-op financials, menu consistence and conducting the quarterly Co-op meetings. He worked directly with marketing and operational field representative to achieve company directives.

Sonic Drive-In – North Carolina & Ohio

Responsibilities include the overall management of the daily operations of multiple stores, including serving as lead director for 150 associates, six General Managers, working closely with all associates in their career development and individual development plans, managing human resources, planning and executing budgets, procurement of merchandise and proper presentation, payroll management, community development, inventory management, training and development of management candidates, compliance of all federal and state regulations, customer service, and implementing all company directives. Directed and managed the development of 6 restaurants that included site evaluation and selection, construction budget and completion schedules, securing financing, negotiating costs, hiring and crew development, coordinated grand opening staffing needs, and overall restaurant success both in North Carolina and Ohio.

Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. – Elizabeth City, NC
Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities included the supervision of a group of 4 Account Managers and 6 Merchandisers to manage over 160 retail/restaurant accounts. Duties included planning yearly budget, management of human resources including payroll and benefits and all merchandising operations. Other responsibilities included the hiring and termination of all employees, attended monthly marketing and operations meeting to ensure flawless promotional execution in the my district.

Food Lion, Inc. – Salisbury, NC
Store Operations Supervisor
Major responsibilities consisted of leading a team of 10 -12 Store Managers to meet and exceed company standards of operation. Main areas of focus included daily store conditions, excellence in customer service, measurement of daily performance reports, inventory management, profit and loss performance, compliance with all State and Federal requirements, completed Store Manager’s annual performance review, hiring and termination of store manager as needed. He worked with a team of department merchandisers to schedule training needs for the Department Manager’s with in his group of stores to efficiently communicate company initiatives.
